Love....?
Speeding
(A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on a motorcycle)
Girl: Slow down. Im scared.
Guy: No this is fun.
Girl: No its not. Please, its to scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug.
(Girl hugs him)
Guy: Can u take my helmet off and put it on? Its bugging me.
In the paper the next day: A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on the motorcycle, but only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him, felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so she would live even though it meant he would die

I am too. But we romantics have to be a little realistic, or we're a bad representation of our ideology. I think so, at least.

Okay. ell oh ells, so as I'm reading this tiny argument convo... I just have to get my say in.

I agree with GoReal... Extremely corny and after reading it, 'How stupid!' went through my head. However, unlike all the people who've posted here so far, I am NOT a romantic. Unless it ends in tragedy and was a good story, I typically find romances dreadufully awful and/or cheesy.

But I also agree with Caringkiller. If someone cares for another at such a high level/extreme measure (note: this doesn't have to be a boyfriend/girlfriend), it is human nature--generally speaking--to put and consider that person's happiness and life before your own.

I agree with Jenny.

Romance is extremely cheesy speaking as someone who can't take it seriously. I start laughing when someone tries that.

But yes it is human nature to put the one you really care about first (usually).

I've read silly stories like this and I knew how it was going to end. I think it's really silly personally. But I can understand when you care about someone and you'd be willing to do anything for them, so if this is a true story, yes it is slightly sad but it also sounds like something out of a silly love story.

Hey, it all depends on your definition of true love.

Care to share it?

Yeah, sure!
Ever wondered on the meaning of love,
As sweet, as gentle as a dove,
The reason of the creation of this world,
And the mighty heavens above

I view the phrase "true love" as another term for "unconditional love." In that, I think it explains itself. C:
